Ok, so the other day I said, I am fine, I'll give it to my HP, it will be ok. Well now I AM FREAKING OUT!!! All the construction stuff has been worked out, my friend said he would take the trees from my property down, well, HE CAN'T!!! I totally understand, I get it they are to big, I think we all were wishful thinking, but know I am losing it because I really have been budgeted to the max!!! I have been working on getting new estimates, but I really have no extra cash to throw that way. I have some BIG ASS TREES!!! I am hoping that someone will actually want to take them to sell for firewood or something or not charge me a crazy number to take them down. I am doing all I can to try to find a solution, but I can't stop thinking about this even though I am trying to turn it over. I think the bigger stuff is easier to turn over, because you have one out come or another, this is not so easy, I HAVE TO GET THESE DOWN. my contractor already ordered the house, I can't do anything else. I am a little upset he didn't tap me and say these are really big, but I guess I was just naive!!
Pray that I can give it up, because I need some prayers for that now!!
Do you do anything that you could possibly work out a trade with the tree removal guy? And no, I'm not being "awnry" - seriously...didn't you say you do hair - just a thought - sounds like he'd have maybe a lifetime of free haircuts - just brainstorming - can't sleep cuz the Kentucky Headhunters are still out jammin away and doing so VERY LOUDLY - saw your post and have been researching/googling for ideas for you - didn't find much - thought of the trade thing as I have a friend that does various things thru trade deals...what about contacting some type of preservation society to see if they would be interested in "moving" the trees instead of cutting them up...ok - now I'm tired - xoxoxo - it'll work out - you know it will - turn it over and witness His work :)

ReplyDeleteOk, so this morning I met with a tree guy for an estimate. It is doable, if my excavator puts the trees to the back of my lot. I he said he would. It costs a ton to have them take it with them, I can always offer people the wood for free and then next year have it removed, I just need to get the house in.
So at this point, if the tree guy I met with today is my lowest offer, I'll take him, and if he is my highest offer, then I will be happy to pay less!!! THANK YOU HP!! UGHHHHH!!
Annette, LOL!!! I don't know what your tree people are like, but our tree people don't get haircuts, and if they do they use their own chainsaws, LOL!!!!! Thank you though, it made me chuckle.
Wow - never thought about it that way - made me laugh too....in Kansas, if you want a tree down, you grab your little gas powered jobby and cut it down - we don't have all that big of trees around here - guess the northeast does....didn't think about that either...I did see a quote from a guy in PA when I googled for $2k per tree - WOW - those trees must be freakin enormous! Glad something is panning out for ya girl....now STOP FREAKIN OUT! :) You know better woman! xoxo - have a great rest of the weekend!
